Description |
This position is responsible for both key strategic responsibilities and tactical responsibilities related to the Health and Positioning Control markets in North and South America, including:
~ Develop customer-centric business model to identify value proposition for the Health and Positioning Control markets and customers. Model development is derived from market segmentation.
~ Contribute to development of strategic market plans.
~ Lead long-term and short-term forecasting and business planning for market segment, industry or region.
~ Drive tactics for designated segment based on an understanding of the market landscape and the value proposition and customer service model.
~ Drive market strategy across the Timken matrix organization to ensure alignment.
~ Responsible for portfolio optimization, forecasting, market research for defined market, and Marketing communication plan.
~ Execute pricing strategy and implement pricing guidelines and new product requests.
~ The incumbent has indirect or informal responsibility for managing and developing talent, providing informal leadership and mentoring to the team.

Requirements |
Requirements: Bachelors Degree in BA Business, Marketing, Finance, BS Engineering with 8 years experience OR Masters Degree in Business, Finance with 6 years experience.
Market or Industry cumulative work experience 8-10 years.
Experience in conducting marketing / customer assessments.
Business economics knowledge.
Proficiency in the following software tools: Microsoft Office Suite.
Desired: Experience developing long-range forecasts and managing execution of plans.
Experience with executing new product launches on time and within budget.
Ability to analyze data using databases such as Access / Brio.
Ability to incorporate continuous improvement into market planning process.
